To make a reasonable estimate of the cash reserve requirements for your business, review its financial statements over the last 2-5 years (10 years if available). Observe the historical cash flow pattern of the business and factor in any new risk factors including inflation, higher fuel and commodity prices, stock market and real estate volatility, political changes, terrorism, and conflict abroad. Each business and its customers are affected differently.
